Henry W. Waweru serves as the Manager within the Internal Audit & Risk Management Department at MEDS. In this role, he supports the Head of Department in overseeing the organization’s internal audit activities and enterprise risk management framework.
The department provides independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control systems across MEDS operations. It also promotes compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Through systematic audits and proactive risk assessments, the Internal Audit & Risk Management Department helps safeguard MEDS’ assets and enhance operational efficiency.
